Update: after using the toaster, I need to put it on the highest setting to get some browning and then the toast isn't much brown, but it becomes dried and hard. Not sure if I'll keep it. Sorry folks everything I previously said was good but I'm not sure about how it toasts bread.If it wasn't for Amazon's great return policy, we wouldn't get a working toaster. That is true for many items.The toaster box was packed in a much stronger box so the toaster box was in perfect shape, and so was the toaster.We like that we can dial an exact toast setting. Even 1/2 or 3/4 between numbers. We like that it takes approximately 3 minutes to toast. Not very long to toast.The toaster is very light to move.When first turning it on, there wasn't a lot of fumes. The Cuisinart that we sent back didn't toast evenly and smelled like chernoble. The Haden toasts evenly and doesn't smell toxic.Haden was established in England but the toaster is still made in China.It is attractive, toasts well, and has nice controls. I can't find anything negative about it and my wife says I am a negative person. Shucks! I can't find anything negative. I'm losing my touch.

Bought it because of the looks. I haven't had a toaster in years, but it toasted my bagel beautifully. Very happy about it's light weight, too. Makes storing and moving it easy. Super happy about my purchase.

I ordered this and the matching kettle. Got an email that it was shipped, then got a second email saying there was an issue and they had to the ship the toaster and kettle. I only ever got one tracking number. When the package arrived it was only the toaster. I have contacted customer service numerous times and keep getting a run around. They keep saying wait 48 hours and if it's not received then they will talk to me. Well it's been 96 and I still just keep getting the same response. I can't seem to get anyone to understand half the order was missing. Time to get the credit card company involved. The toaster itself is sub par as well unfortunately. It looks nice, but the outer casing is all flimsy plastic and burns everything no matter what the setting

I really like the beige color, it has a slightly gray cast to it and is very pretty. I have had it about a few months now and it has worked well. It is too expensive for a toaster though.

I did a lot of research on roasters and what I found was that there isn’t “one best roaster” everyone has different opinions. So instead of buying the $200 toaster I went for one that had fairly good reviews and would fit my kitchen aesthetic. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the look of it. The color is perfect. At the end of the day it is a basic toaster but I like that it’s a real brand and not one of the random Chinese brands you see online. It toasts fine and serves the purpose. Great value

Very nice looking toaster. I have the electric tea kettle from the same company in the same color so it looks really nice in the kitchen and I’ve had the tea kettle for a few years and it’s really good quality.
