They are dried out. Not really tasty. In fact, had a slightly funny after taste. Please explain that?

When you see "zero sugar," what's your thought? They've figured out a great formula for this, as it tastes like as it should. I thought the flavor was really good because other beef sticks have a saltier flavor, but this one tastes just right. A mild beef flavor that just tastes more natural. I can't stop eating them.
