The battery works with Lenovo IdeaPad Z580
After paying £40 for a replacement battery for my Lenovo IdeaPad, it was refused with a loud noise and a lengthy notice upon startup.It was a huge relief when I purchased the BYDT battery at half the price. Make sure it clears any faults on the laptop
Unfortunately the battery still doesn't clear the battery fault in the software saying that it's an illegal battery.Don't know if it was meant to be or not.Besides that it got a battery now

Didn't turn up
The battery didn't turn up and they refuse to fix the problem. They will try to not replace or refund the item, please go elsewhere for your needs.

Not so reassuring
After fitting a notification responded that the battery was "unauthorized and may cause damage" and a further notification informing that the battery was "low and required replacing". Not very reassuring to say the least.

Check Model number compared to the one which needs replacing.
Replacement battery for a laptop. Ordered L11S6Y01 (10.8v, 4400mAh/48Wh ) and when it arrived it was L11M6Y01 (11.1v, 5200mAh/58Wh ). Different voltage ratings. Needed to check with a third party if it was ok to use and it is fine. Please do check before using.

No signal about low battery
Proper device, the only minus - now I never know when it's gonna be turned off. With the original battery I always had a signal about 6% level. Now it just turns off... not good if your docs have no autosave.
