Nice product but I had to read the Instructions. Fully functional now. We like it. We selected tune #3, Fur Elise. Beethoven. Cool! Yes, 3 to 7 meters is about right for its sensitivity for a person at 98.6 degrees; but for a Mack truck with a hot radiator, it will pick it up way over 50 meters away. Had to aim it so it no longer picked up road traffic or church parking next door at 70 meters away. Liked the many choices of notification tones which include classical and fun tunes. Instructions were simple and clear. We use it for detecting dogs/deer/ someone/something/deliveries coming up the driveway. The ball and socket attachment for the sending unit is excellent and easy to set up, providing many possibilities and easy aiming. Well designed. Tried mounting it inside a plastic jar for protection, but the infrared will not pickup inside glass, plastic or windows. I completely sealed (tape) the sensor to prevent rain damage. Kept the second unit unused for a backup if needed.

I haven't used them outside as I live in an apartment community and they'd be chiming all day long. However, my 9 year old has serious impulse control issues, adhd, asd, ied, odd, etc and because I couldn't put a padlock on my pantry door like I did my personal freezer, I needed to know when he was heading downstairs at night and when he got into the pantry while I was sleeping.He absolutely HATES it, while I love it. I put one sensor on my stairwell shelf and one in the pantry itself. I haven't had a chance to mount it, so I sat it one the corner shelf at the top of the stairs, next to my motion control lights sensor and he has taken to swiping the sensor from the stairwell and hiding it when he can get away with it. During the day, I turn it to light only and then we can use the stairs or pantry as needed without a chime.

This is a great product for homes with small children. I have one sensor on my front door and one on the back. They keep me informed as to my kids opening doors. I also like that I get a chime when someone is on my front porch (like UPS or FedEx). I need to buy another one for my garage. I would definitely recommend this product.

This item is great for picking up motion and letting you know with a choice of 38 different alarm sounds and volume control. What I think is strange is, how can they say it is a driveway sensor when it is not weather proof?? I mean really, if it is not weather proof then I don't see how it can be labeled as a driveway sensor. Great for indoor use though.

I bought this product in mid-late August. It was shipped to me in a speedy manner. The product was an easy install after a few tries and it turned out to be very sensitive. I installed one at my front door and I am keeping the other one for a backup - you will know if someone is at your door and the chime will ring. I unplug it if people come to cut grass in the front of the house. I am thinking this product will have other uses as well - for example, to put to use to detect children or seniors movement and thus to call for attention. Thanks for the nice product and I am enjoying it.

I purchased the wireless alarm a few weeks ago, and I installed one at our front door, and one next to the garage door facing to the driveway. It works very well. It can sense motions precisely even as far as over 40-50 feet. After I realized it gave me an alarm even a vehicle passes by the community road in front of our house, I had to adjust the monitor's angle to make sure the correct distance range that works best to us. The alarm sounds has multiple choices from music to Ding-dong, and the volume can be adjusted to your preference. We love the purchase, especially my kids, are excited about testing it.

This motion sensor/alarm works great and is so much cheaper than a full security system. We placed the sensor and then had to adjust to get the best detection, but once we played with it a bit, it worked great. There are several different sounds/tunes that it plays which makes it fun. This is great for when our grandchildren come and go. We can tell when the doors are opened and they get a kick out of the fun sounds. I would comment this product.

Very unhappy with this purchase. When we were about to set these up the instructions we found out they can't get wet, be used in the sun and heavily not be useful in the driveway. What a joke.
