Needed to make another batch of tart cherry jam and these cherries were perfect. Delicious. Still frozen when I received them (and I live in AZ).

I used to drive about an hour to a farm to pick up sour cherries that I use to make Russian-style preserves. Then, I'd spend half a day removing seeds. This cherry comes with seeds already removed, and the resulting preserve is indistinguishable from the one made from fresh tart cherries.Obviously, if you like to eat tart cherry fresh, you may be better off finding a local farm or growing it yourself. But with tart cherries hard to come by in the US, it might be difficult. If, however, you use tart cherries to make preserves, pies or anything else, this would work just as well and will save time removing seeds.

I use them to make Tart Cherry Pie, which I like very much.

These organic sour cherries are delicious. Made a lovely pie. I did not realize how hard it is to find a pure natural product. I use to pick them as a child from trees that neighbors had but this made me want to buy a tree and wait years for it to bear fruit. Until then I will be a repeat purchaser.

The cherries were not really very sour and did not have a true natural sour cherry flavor.
