Can i use it on a feit 175 watt led grow light. (1.6 amps) once again on a led light?

Some LED lights are dimmable and still produce light. Some others can not be. If your grow light instructions say that it can be dimmed, then this product may work for you. As I understand in the use of grow lights, they are manufactured to a certain intensity for ultimate photosynthesis to happen. If that is the case, dimming its output would cause either a slowing down of growth, which is Not what you want, or it will not provide the proper light spectrum for plant growth. If the illumination intensity is bothersome to you or the area where it is being used, I suggest a portion of cardboard box to either totally cover the light, a or a section of cardboard box to shield the offending light. I personally purchased this voltage regulator to control the speed of a single speed fan, which works like a charm for me!

What's the Rpm on slow?

That will depend on fan being used however on a simple 3- speed 20” box fan (set on high) the blade stops knob is rotated quickly to low. If slowly adjusted the from Med to Low 160 RPM based on Video Tachometer App. The rate of adjustment to the control knob is critical for precise tuning as it is sensitive. I know this is getting technical but it works well.

It is a variable switch from zero to max speed under load. With no load when in Off Position there is 120-V/60Hz this remains the same from High to just above Med then 120-V/180HZ then just below Med to Low it drops back to 120-V/60.0Hz Not sure what to think about that however it does work as originally stated
