It does the job

Bugucat Vegetable Chopper: A neat and effective product. This mandolin vegetable slicer is sturdy and easy to handle, it’s very slim and 3 of the blades can be stored within the structure itself and an additional 3 are provided within a small plastic box. It has 4 small magnets on each corner of the back and indicates it would adhere to a fridge for easy access, however while it does stick to my fridge its a little too heavy to stay and slips down over time, so could well end up in the floor. Easy enough to store in a drawer or cupboard though.The 6 blades provided are quick and simple to change, they just pop in and out. It provides 2 thicknesses of shredding and slicing blade a ricer and lattice blade which make lovely crisscross potato slices for homemade crisps.Changing the blades are probably the only time you risk cutting yourself and even then only if your careless when doing this. Otherwise there is a hand protector which slides over the mandolin and acts as a guard when slicing, longer vegetables (e.g. carrots) Can be used through the guard, but there is also a cover which ensures Shorter veg Pieces can be safely cut without fingers getting too close to blades.All elements are easy to clean, in a dishwasher if wished, and Dry - no fiddly bits. Excellent and really useful for a range of purposes.

Disclaimer: I received this item as part of Amazon Vine program in exchange for my fair and honest review. The below is based on my true experience of using the product.The chopper/cutter is a wonderful idea. It makes slicing radishes, carrots and turnips into thin strips or thin slices an easy and quick task (I still recommend peeling the skin off first!). With the hand guard and the spring-loaded holder, the small end is also easily cut without any injury.Cleaning is easy as the cutting blade can be removed to rinse in water (recommend to clean right away rather than hours later when the leftovers have become hardened and dry). I realised that the spare blades tucked away underneath the board will get wet as well when washing so you might want to take them off and put them somewhere if you don't need them, or else you will need to remove them to dry after washing the board (or water will get trapped and mold may develop).There are 4 magnets on the underside of the board which I assume is for storing away. There's no mention about this in the instruction so that's my educated guess.All in all, an excellent product, making cooking quicker and more enjoyable, especially when you don't have to hurt yourself in the process.

Very sharp and good cutter I have ever purchased for veg.

This mandoline slicer is very well made with quality steel blades and good plastics. The whole unit is well designed and looks quite square and unassuming. There are spaces on the slicer itself to store a few cutters and the extra can go into the drawer. The blades are very sharp so you need to be very very careful. The safety guard has a slightly different design compared with many other brands. There is a big hole that you can put the vegetable inside. It would not work if you want to get very long strips. I do not use the guard. I have got a pair of anti-cut gloves for this purpose. I have been using it many times for over a month and am very pleased with it. Very easy to clean.

Esta mandolina tiene todos los cortes a un precio asequible. No es la más cómoda porque la debes sujetar tú, pero hace papel y puedes cortar la verdura de diferentes formas. Me va muy bien para que los niños tomen verdura.

Corta bien, cuchillas suficientes, no le doy un cinco porque el protector no cumple del todo su función y porque no estaria de mas que tuviera algun tipo de soporte que permitiera usar el cortador con un poco de inclinación
