THIS THING WORKS!
Okay, let's be honest. I don't have 'peach fuzz'. I've got the flippin' Black Forest growing under my nose! The products advertised on TV don't come close to wiping out the overgrowth. I found a little grippy thing with a tight coil that worked better than anything else I had tried. But you have to squeeze and squeeze and squeeze over again and again. My old lady arthritic fingers and wrists became very sore! And it always left 20-25 hairs for me to pluck with tweezers. NOT ANYMORE!! This thing works! It is very easy to use, no more sore hands. I still have to pluck after use, but only 1-2 hairs! And all the other products promised the hair wouldn't grow back as quickly or thickly as before. Well, it is finally happening with this Remington appliance. I usually had to pluck at least once a week. Now, it is almost every two weeks! I have purchased many items through Amazon and have been generally happy with most of them. But I was never so impressed that I wanted to leave a review before. That's how great this thing is!

Does the job
Finally someone — Revlon! — has made an epilator for facial hair. Anyone who has used epilators knows they don’t give a smooth finish like a shaver, because they don’t pick up all the hair at the same time, but they also don’t leave hair that becomes stubble when it starts growing out. So I grabbed one to try it out, and I’m happy to report it works well. I use it on both chin and upper lip, and it doesn’t cause enough discomfort for that to be a factor in choosing it. It has a pleasing fit in the hand and runs on a AA battery. It is so hard to figure out what to do about the chin hairs that show up in later years, and this is a great addition to the battle.

Works!
This works. The question everyone wants to know, I’m guessing, is does it hurt? The answer is yes, it hurts, especially if you’re using it on an area that you’ve never waxed or plucked before. However, it hurts significantly less than waxing. I’ve been waxing my upper lip for years, and it hurts every time. With this little miracle, though, it was nothing more than a minor irritant. I used it on the side of my face, and that hurt a bit more, since I’ve never removed hair there, but nothing severe. I even used between my eyebrows, and it worked, too(I wouldn’t use it under my brows, though. There’s not enough control to get a good line). I conjured up my courage and attempted my underarms, and here is where I took off a star. It was not effective at all—I think it doesn’t have enough tweeze-wheel-things and not enough power to do the hair there. I think, if I want to do my underarms, I would need a more powerful epilator. Overall, this is a handy little guy works well on the face, is less painful than waxing, and well worth the money.

sometimes pulls out hair, but for most part big waste of time with little pay off
I want to like this, but it takes entirely too long to see hair pulled out. And I have patience! When the hair is eventually tugged out, it is super satisfying to see the hair with the bulb on the end. But by no means can I target a hair and see it yanked out. It is much quicker to use tweezers. In my 40s and have pretty much had way too much facial hair since I was in my teens. Basically been shaving ever since. Gotta say, I have some super smooth skin from all that gentle regular physical exfoliation. But sometimes I just want to take it out at the root. I will employ my tweezers but I really do have a lot of hair, so I would rather just not do that. So cue the epilator. I have tried a couple of other brands with zero success (literally went in trash). This at least will eventually start grabbing some hair and pull it out. I just wish is was for sure effective and at a much quicker pace. I dont mind it taking awhile if it is a sure thing, but that isnt my experience.I tried slow rolling, I tried tapping, I tried swiping up and down, I tried swiping side to side. Just couldnt find that sweet spot.I definitely used this on longer hair. I let my facial hair (cheeks, chin, lip, and under the chin) grow a bit, and I also tried it on armpit hair and leg hair. I rarely shave either area. This was mind numbing boring with how long it was taking to do anything. So while I havent tossed it out, I havent reached for it again either. 3 stars.

So glad I finally bought this!!
Okay so I never write reviews, and yet I rely exclusively on reviews when deciding to buy a product or not. I held out on buying this item for close to a year because of its many negative reviews. Finally I caved and decided to give it try and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!Getting all the way honest here, I'm a female in my twenties and I have the unfortunate curse of battling a mustache since my early teens. I've always stayed on top of it with waxing, plucking and of course my trusty flawless but it's still very much my biggest insecurity. When I first heard of epilators, I immediately wanted to try one but it seemed like none of them are actually made to be used on your face. Except for this cheap Remington one with the not so great reviews..So I finally order it and give it a try. OMG you guys, it works!! It gets all those nasty hairs and maybe I'm just used to ripping the hair out already but it doesnt even hurt, it actually feels kinda like acupuncture in a way. The secret is finding the best angle and position while holding it on your skin. It says to hold skin tight and use the epilator in circular motions, I do that, I also go straight across, up and down, I hold it backwards, I use it in every single possible position until my upper lip is completely smooth and clear.I definitely recommend exfoliating before use to get all the dead skin out of the way so no hairs are blocked. And this is important.. when you're done, clean the the tweezers part with rubbing alcohol or witch's hazel or whatever you prefer, but make sure you clean it after every use or else it will spread bacteria and break you out bad!!So yes I recommend this product if you are cursed like me. It takes some getting used to before you get it down perfect, but you will achieve perfect results with the very first use, it's just gonna require some extra passes till you get it down.
