Great lifespan
I have been using these bulbs in my landscape lighting. They run between 7 and 9 hours per day.After one year they are all running well. Only one has died and I think it was due to water intrusion.

Great replacement bulb for outdoor lighting
Very bright for such a small Bulb . Use them in my outdoor lighting with great success, they work better than the original halogen bulbs.

Not 5W, more like 3W
I purchased these bulbs to switch out my outdoor landscaping lights to brighten up the yard. They are exactly the same brightness as the 3W bulbs I already had. Disappointing and a waste of money.

Works!
Replaced burnt-out halogen bulbs in my Proline range hood. The bulbs are a little deeper than standard MR11, but they fit snugly in the holder. I was afraid that they would flicker with the 20W halogen power supply, but so far I have no problems. They are slightly brighter than the halogen bulbs. Hopefully they will also last longer.
