Portable Laptop Stand, SAIJI Monitor Riser, Adjustable Height & Angle Blocker, Foldable Standing Desk, Light-Weight Holder for MacBook Pro Air, Notebook, Thinkpad, Surface

1 week report:I bought the Saiji laptop stand as part of my back-to-school office as I am starting grad school. I had done some online research as I knew this what I would be rolling with for the next 5 years and was exhausting my gear budget. I've had this thing for a week now writing essays, browsing the internet, making ppt presentations, watching youtube etc. I am very pleased with it. (Full setup: LG gram 17, Philips 27" monitor, Jellycomb wireless keyboard+mouse, Anker Soundcore2 BT speakers, Saiji folding laptop stand.)This is basically the top part of a foldable stand for music pieces. Which makes it extra portable. It's about the size of a small folded umbrella so it will fit well in a bag. As a student that has to go to school and also sit in the library for a long time I really appreciate the portability.The construction is good and designed well. It has a metal skeleton with a plastic shell over it which doesn't look like the best solution at first but it seems to work fine. It's wide enough that it won't tilt or let you laptop fall. The rubber underneath the legs makes it feel extra sturdy while the little extendable parts that hold your laptop are also rubber for good grip. You can really tell that they thought this design over. The openness gives you good passive airflow to cool your laptop if needed. The only con is that this does not have any option for stand angles.

This laptop stand is for my desk and I put it away in a drawer when I am not using it. Sometimes I leave my laptop on it like a display stand. It is convenient because it doesn't take up much room and I can slide my iPad under the stand for convenience and space while I am using my laptop. The black color material is more of a matte like finish so it does show smearing/fingerprints when trying to fold and unfold it. The little hinges that your laptop rests upon are soft like a rubber material and can be adjusted if your laptop is not as thin as others. The hinges rotate upwards and are sturdy. It doesnt take much effort to move them but they don't move while traveling with the stand. I have not used the height angle adjustments, I just use the stand at the highest angle. It is easy and comfortable to type and the screen is right at eye level for me which is perfect. It is pretty long in length which will allow for any laptop between 12"-15" but when it is folded since it is pretty long it may not fit in a small backpack. My macbook is a 12" macbook and I have no issues with this stand being that my laptop is a little smaller than most. I haven't had any issues with this stand so far, I will update if I come across any.

I love the idea to raise the screen higher for better ergonomics. I connect a monitor to my laptop as my main screen and use the laptop screen display my massagers. It was hard to see because the laptop screen is much lower than my monitor.This laptop stand improved the viewing angles greatly but it does have limitation. The adjustible range is limited. I am currently at the angle that provide the highest height, but I would like to raise my laptop even higher. I picked this item due to the lower price range. There are laptop stand that will provide larger range of angles and height settings with a higher price range.I am keeping this stand for my kid's laptop since there is no secondary screen. Aka no height differences to deal with.

I took 1 Star away because I had to glue a rubber stopper back on and it’s starting to get wobbly. This was after several months to a year of use though. So for the money it’s still excellent.I use it for a 17.3” Aorus x7, 2012 13” MacBook Pro and large cook books.Really lightweight material, with some grip on the bottom. This can definitely be used for travel just fold it up. For the most part it is very sturdy for the form factor.Maybe newer versions might add an extra bracket or something just to keep everything solid. But for $12 this is a great contraption to hold laptops or anything that will fit on it I guess.

Don't listen to others who says you cannot adjust the height. You can but its only slight change but noticeable. This stand is awesome as I have a small desk so once i'm done I fold it back up and store away. The stand feels very sturdy be sure to extend to hook if you have thicker laptops as it will slip out. My fault for not reading the dimensions as it is longer than it seems it is portable but you need a bag and cannot slip in pocket.

A great laptop stand for my Mac Pro 13” laptop. Very happy with this product. One of my coworker bought similar product at much higher price. The only reason for four stars is the timing of getting the product. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great portable laptop stand and can fit a range of laptop sizes from 14-17 inches (I’ve got a Chromebook, and 2 HP laptops a 14 and 17 inch) and all three items are held up well and it feels sturdy while on there. It folds down to a size small enough to throw in a backpack. I feel it’s well made and should last for my daily use. Great find.

Good for small and not heavy laptop.
